In the vamps music video of the song somebody to you woman are represented as sex objects like in laura mulvey theory in 1975 lyrics to prove this: "thinking bout way to get you off my mind" Things we connotate with this such as love, sex, relationships. The music video also portrays men as sex objects as explained in the mackillon statement in 2002 using lyrics relating to him 'riding around' quotes from the song like "I used to ride around i didn't want to settle down" clearly connotates to him being a typical male sex object.
